Ākina had the pleasure of sponsoring the Social Enterprise Category at the 2022 Māori Womens Development Inc (MWDI) Māori Businesswomen's Awards. The awards encourage the economic development of wāhine Māori and their whānau.
The event took plae on Friday 29 July 2022 at Aotea Square in Tāmaki Makaurau. Ākina CEO, Nicola Nation said it was “such a great evening! So much awhi and joy in the room. Thanks Māori Women's Development Inc and congratulations to all the worthy winners.”
