Ākina is proud to be re-certified Climate Positive Business Operations with Ekos.

We have measured and offset 120% of our carbon footprint for 1 July 2023 - 30 June 2024 with certified carbon credits.

Total emissions = 36.65 tCO2e (tCO2e means tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent)
Total offsets = 44 (120%)

📉 This is a 37.86% decrease of emissions from our previous financial year, and a 48.43% decrease from our 2018-2019 base year of reporting. We are continuing to take steps to lower our emissions, because we know we can’t offset our way out of the climate crisis.
