Rhys (an environmental planner) and Natasha (a resource management lawyer) were introduced by mutual friends and colleagues who thought they should work together to work on an idea they had both come up with to improve New Zealand’s water quality. The team has expanded to include Sharon and Mike Barton, who farm land in Taupō and won the Supreme Award at the Waikato Ballance Farm Environment Awards and won the NZI Greatest Contribution to a Sustainable New Zealand at the 2015 Sustainable Business Network Awards, plus the Restorative Impact award, for their Taupō Beef venture.
Location
Natasha and Rhys are based in Auckland and Dunedin, respectively. The Bartons are based in Taupō.
