Abigail Egden

Abigail has worked in the anti-trafficking sector for a variety of non-profits in the USA, India, Nepal, and NZ. After five years overseas she returned to the University of Canterbury to complete a degree in Anthropology, and is now based in Auckland as a writer, film-maker and anthropologist.

With experience in event management, logistics and administration, she brings her background in non-profits and film-production to the team in an office support role as “jack of all trades”. She is passionate about understanding people and the issues that divide us, and sees social enterprise as an effective model of connecting people and resources to create positive change in the environment.

In her spare time Abigail also works as a writer for Neat Places, a city guide of unique and interesting businesses around the country. Ask her where to go for coffee!

Abigail is based in Auckland.
